2011 Jam for the Animals

Location: Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Hwy, Crownsville, MD 21032

The Jam for the Animals is ARF's (Animal Rescue Fund) primary fund raising event! This summer ARF is hosting a one day music festival to showcase musicians and bands that support their cause. Gates will open at 11am and music will run from noon to 11 pm. There will be food available and many artists and craftspeople. Unfortunately, concert goers are not allowed to bring their pets (feel free to drop them off for Daycare at Happy Tails for the day!), but there will be animal shelters and rescues at the event with their adoptable animals if you're looking to add on to your family! Some of the artists who have agreed to perform on Stage One are: Ballyhoo!, Pasadena, Shook, The Jello Boys, Crooked Crow, Bond & Bentley, Jenn Reichwein, Can't Hang, Higher Hands, The Biondi Brothers Band, and the dance troupe Gypsy Fusion. Performing on Stage Two are: Full Circle, Switchman, Lost Angel of Havik, R2G2, and On the Rocks, with more to come! Tickets are $20 in advance, or $25 at the gate. Profits to benefit: MABB, BARCS, Lucky Dog, Rude Ranch, AAC SPCA, Cats R Us, and ARF of Chester. For more information, visit ARF-MD.org.
