A car dealership full of cats, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits, all needing a home? That's right! Happy Tails Pet Resort sponsored the Wilkins Automotive 4th Annual Pet Adopt-A-Thon on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 9:30a.m.- 2:00p.m. at the Wilkins dealership, located at 6913 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD, 21061. Furry friends of all shapes and sizes were showcased by non-profits like Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue, Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue, Lucky Cat Rescue and many others. Visit the Wilkins Pets website for a list of vendors and organizations joining the fun. Already have a pet? Have them join the fun and enter the Best in Show contests to show off a unique costume, trick or good looks. Families enjoyed free lunch, fresh off the grill, a special reptile show by Critter Caravans, jumps in the moon bounce, face painting, photos with the famous "Papua Piig" guinea pig, and met with plenty of adoptable pets.
