At Happy Tails Pet Resort, pet care is more than just a business—it’s a legacy of love and dedication going back over 30 years. Founded by Caryl and Frank Buckler in 1992 on their family property, Happy Tails began its journey in a humble, renovated barn with capacity for just 25 dogs. Mandy, their daughter, grew up immersed in every aspect of the business, from providing loving pet care to managing business operations. Within 10 years, driven by a commitment to excellence and growing demand from the community, Happy Tails expanded into a larger, full-service facility with over 80 spacious indoor/outdoor runs, 10 beautiful outdoor play yards with play equipment and shade structures, live web cams, specialized doggie music, and more.

Mandy and her husband Justin became second-generation owners of Happy Tails in 2009, following the retirement of Frank and Caryl. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in every aspect of the business, they are committed to continuous growth and improvement while maintaining the same exceptional standards of care that Happy Tails has upheld since 1992.
